Ahmsa’s programs are designed to equip marginalized communities with the tools and opportunities they need to overcome poverty, violence and environmental degradation.

COMMUNITY ENTERPRISE DEVELOPMENT Colombia
Ahmsa builds and strengthens micro-enterprises in economically depressed areas to alleviate poverty and contribute to community driven development. The entrepreneurial experience not only generates income and employment for marginalized groups, but it also catalyzes psychosocial recovery for armed conflict victims by stimulating creativity, personal motivation and community cohesion. These ahmsa services include:

• Capacity Building and Skills Training – Ahmsa provides a range of training services for micro-enterprises and individuals in poverty-stricken areas, including: Entrepreneurship, Business Administration, Vocational and Technical Skills, Market Consolidation, Solidarity Economics, Conflict Resolution, Human Rights, Social Values and Identity Affirmation
• Seed Capital – Ahmsa supports micro-enterprises with seed capital in the form of microcredit, equipment and materials.

SOCIAL INCLUSION NETWORK Colombia
Ahmsa has built a national network of micro-enterprises and small producers made up of marginalized populations, in order to connect them to clients and consumers in Colombia.

CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY CONSULTING AND PRODUCTS Colombia
Ahmsa provides consulting services and products in corporate social responsability for businesses and organizations of all sizes in Colombia.

OPPORTUNITIES IN HIGHER EDUCATION Colombia
Ahmsa motivates youth in marginalized areas to consider higher education and advises them on degree programs that match their needs and interests.

SPECIAL PROJECTS Colombia
Ahmsa implements special projects related to poverty alleviation, such as community center construction and facilitation, housing projects and development project evaluations.
